Escape plan? That means...Everybody get down!

What can you say about Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarrzenegger? They are too damn funny in this film. The lines that Arnold says are ridiculous. I was glad he was able to get a "get down!" line in there. So both he and Sly are convicts in a prison run by a corrput warden. The warden was played great by Jim Caviezel. At times he was over the top as a villain, but then he would be cold as ice. He did a good job. Stallone is an expert in getting out of prisons, he works for a security company going undercover to see what cracks and mistakes are in the prison system. Not to give anything away, but there are some pretty good twists in this one. You might expect it to be straight up action film, which mainly it was. But there was alot of humor thrown in as well. Sometimes unintentional, which makes it more funny. So go watch film!

It's all Gravity jack!

A film one in awhile deserves the hype, and you definitely get that with Gravity. Sandra Bullock is amazing as an astronaut who gets stranded in space along with George Clooney, who once again I have to admit did a pretty good in his role. You never know with him if he is going to be annoying or good when it comes to his films. Bullock was amazing in her role. She had humor, emotion, bravery. She just did an awesome job. Also lets not forget the effects. With all that space debris flying around, it looked like a freight train! The soundtrack was good too. All I got to say is Voy a beilar!

Machete reeks...

Maybe thats to strong of a review for Machete Kills, but I guess I was expecting more. When they said Charlie Sheen, and Mel Gibson were going to be in the film I said "Okaaay." And of course they didn't add much to the film at all. Mel Gibson would give long speeches about nothing and then he looked pretty bored. So did Sheen. The action sequences at times were cool and ridiculously over the top which I loved about in the first film. This one though one, it just seemed to go through the motions. Walter Goggins was pretty good as the first incarnation of El Chameleon. Demian Becher as Mendez did a fine job as well. If theres a third installment, hopefully it goes back to how the original was.

Prisoners:oooofffff!

It was a good psychological suspenseful film. Hugh Jackman was good as one of the fathers whose daughters go missing in the film. Terrence Howard was good, but I don't think they used him enough. They made him too much of Jackman's sidekick I thought. The "suspected" kidnapper was well played. And I thought that the twist was good, but really convoluted. The last scene too was something that kind of left me speechless as one reviewer wrote it would, but it was more of a reaction on my part of "Oh come on man!"

Insidious 2: Don't watch it...

Go back to thes kinds of films Vin..

Riddick was a film that I enjoyed watching. Dark humor, action, special effects. Can't ask for anymore jack! I know Vin Diesel wanted to try other types of films. He did some comedy, some drama. But he's a pretty legit action star, so why not stick to that? Anyway the first in the I guess you can say trilogy was Pitch Black which was a classic. The second film Chronicles of Riddick put me to sleep to be quite honest. But Riddick comes back fast and furious!(hahaha, see what I did there? I used another of his films bro to be funny. Have not watched any of those films, probaly won't. Okay I'll stop. too many words in the parenthesis) I think Riddick would have done really well if it was released in the middle of the summer season. Hopefully it does well in the box office. I'll see ya man. Bs man.

World's end my friend?

See that title rhyme. Anyway this was a very funnny film, about a bunch of guys who were high school chums who attempted to go on a pub crawl to 12 pubs when they were younger, but failed cause they were too high or wahtever. Now years later they all meet together again to attempt this glorious feat. Simon Pegg is hilarious as Gary King who gathers the group to attempt to do the crawl again. During their escapades they face a whole group of robots. I know that sounds dumb, but trust me its an awesome film. I liked the physical comedy, the banter, also the reactions to situations. To me, a actor has comedic talent just by the way they react to situations. It could just be the right look, laugh, a line. Just something simple that makes the whole audience laugh. The main cast had all that down to perfection. Highly re-co-mend.
