RIPD no BS man...
You know something man, this is bullshiii...Anyway, I thought RIPD was a fun film to watch. It was funny, had good action. Jeff Bridges was good as Yosemite Sam or whatever his name was in the film. Alot of people compare it to Men in Black. Eh, I don't know. I guess instead of aliens, they went after ghosts or demons I guess you could say. I think it would have probably done better in the box office if was released in the fall. Perhaps near Halloween eh? Some of the garbagio thats doing well in the summer is beyond me, like Grownups 2? Oh come on man!

Now lets see the Atlantic drift!
Pacific Rim is what a summer blockbuster should be. To me even though summer is not over, this was by far the best film this season. You simply cannot go wrong with giant robots fighting monsters. The acting was fine. It didn't take much from the film. Charlie Day was as usual brillantly funny. Ron Perlman was hiliarious as well. I hope they make many sequels, and I would not mind seeing Godzilla, or Gamera make an appearnce. Even Mothra if she/it wants to join in on the fun.

It's no Walker, Texas Walker but Lone Ranger will do...
I have to say I enjoyed watching the Lone Ranger. Critics lambasted(funny word there eh?) the film, but I thought it was fine. Maybe it was a bit too long. Buy hey,it had alot of action, humor, explosions, horses, masks, woman with a prosthetic leg shotgun(not kidding there jack)So I'm glad I went to watch it. Johnny Depp was superb as Tonto, and I think Arme Hammer did good as the Lone Ranger. His delivery was a bit hokey at times. I guess it was centered around Johnny Depp but I think enough attention was given to the Ranger. I had read a graphic novel that was published a few years ago, a retelling of sorts of the Lone Ranger, so I was curious to how it would be portrayed in modern day film The character has been around for a long time, so it was nice to see it reinvented and I believe this film did it right. Plus it was awesome to listen to the William Tell overture playing as the Lone Ranger and Tonto were chasing the bad guys. A delightful experience. Heh, heh delightful. Ah, I'm so funny.
